Saab Aero-X Spotted at Swedish Gas Station?
By Tom Wilkinson
GM Communications
Proving that it’s not a just-for-show concept car, the Saab Aero-X made its way to a gas station in Angelholm, Sweden for a fill up that has bloggers talking around the globe. The Aero-X has unusual taste when it comes to fuel, with an engine capable of running on anything from straight gasoline to pure ethanol, or any mixture of the two. The pit stop took place at a station that offers ethanol at the pump –- still far more common in Sweden than in the U.S. –- making it a picture-perfect opportunity for onlookers to catch a glimpse of the stunning concept car.
Don’t let the eco-friendly ethanol-powered Aero-X fool you, though: this Saab’s 2.8 liter V6 twin-turbo engine cranks out 400 bhp and an estimated 0-60 time of 4.9 seconds -- not too shabby for a car that pretty much runs on veggies.

Regarding the Aero-X, I know GM won't let Saab do it, but a lot of people are saying "Please build it!" I'll bet Jay Leno would buy one.
