In honor of today’s Camaro production announcement, FYI’s Photo of the Day is celebrating the Camaro with these cool shots. We’re looking for more great Camaro photos. If you’ve got a photo you’d like to see featured in our special Camaro gallery, make sure to tag it “gmfyi” on Flickr and we’ll find it.

It’s good to see the Camaro coming back but the style needs to be toned down a little…giant wheels and the bling-bling front grille need to go. Hopefully they can make a Z28 that’s got 400 hp but a price that’s affordable.

    A Big Cowgirl Hee-YaH!!
    - Shout- Out!!
Because it is Great to see the Camaro coming back…
    just a little suggestion here;
it sure would be nice if there was a little more of the characteristic Camaro shape and if they don’t mind adding a little more clay to the concept car
    w/bulging wheelwells(?)…

    best regards - b : )

It’s about F’ ing time!!! I guess someone in coroporate HQ got fired and someone got smart. The f-body should have never stopped .The 4th gen was fast, handled well and outperformed most cars on the road.
Bring it back the right way.
    Keep It Simple Stupid.

No need for all the heavy electronics to weigh the car down like the S197/05 ‘Mustangs that weigh 4300+ lbs.The car is supposed to be lightweight made out of fiberglass/kevlar,carbon fiber composites but you add all the weight right back.It weighs more than a 67 chevelle which was STEEL!!!

We don’t need 19″ & 20″ rims for styling and profiling 17″ & 18″s like a C5 vette are fine ,we can spin em and burn rubber all day long and they are afforbale tires and still have ride quality….

    A Z28 LS2 420 hp is suffice then there should be RS mid level 450 hp, a RS/SS LS7 505 HP

    Only need 2 tranny’s:
    4 spd auto w/OD
    T56-6SPD

    3.55 standard
    3.73,4.10,option
    4.30 drag pack

Keep it true to its heritage above all!!!
Make houndstooth available on certain color combo’s…..

I have a picture of a 67 Camaro built for the European market that is right-hand drive. It even shows the engine compartment with the steering box on the right and all the different brackets and braces for the engine accessories. Has anyone ever seen or know of an actual example
