Bill Betts, Manager for GM Web Services, snapped a few pictures of the Detroit Tigers Pep Rally this afternoon at the Renaissance Center Wintergarden as baseball fans get ready for Game 1 of the World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday.

I am proud of GM, and the Tigers and the city they stand behind, Detroit.

I knew Detroit was on its way back with GM’s push to revive the waterfront, the casinos, the wonderful Super Bowl show and a reinvigorated GM. I have not been this excited about baseball since the Yankees return to the World Series after 18 years.

I hope the folks at GM got a couple of good box seats!

Hay, you know, no other automaker in the world is as connected to a major city as GM is connected to Detroit. So of course I want the Tigers to win for GM, for Detroit, for Michigan and all of the Mid-West, well the Northern part of it.

That is why GM should also be proud, the Tigers performance is as much as your victory as it is the league.

Business is one thing but relationships is what builds a business. If you don’t know what I am talking about ask Lutz.
