I love seeing photos like this. They remind me of the ones I find whenever I look through my parents’ photo albums ;o)

Well you definitely needed snow tires with a Camaro back then. But I made it through the winter of 70-71 in Flint Michigan driving a 69 Z28. Thank goodness for “Positraction”.

I managed to save alot of car mags. from when I was in highschool. I’m 58 now. I’ve got to where I had to keep them put up because the wonderful photos from ads and articles made me pine for those days that I would become overwhelmed sometimes. I’ve got drag race mags. and custom car mags. and mags. like Road and Track from the Sixties. I crack up when I read the ads for the high perf. parts as cheap as they were back then, then I get depressed because of how much they are now. I have a hot rod truck and did all I could with it and it’s great. But when I came back from Vietnam in 1968 I could have bought a brand new SuperSport for three grand, or anything for that matter. I love those times. These times have their good parts to but over all these times suck. That’s why I enjoy looking back so much.
