Jan. 11, 1940, marked a milestone event for GM as the 25 millionth vehicle, a 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe Sport Sedan, rolled off the assembly line in Flint, Mich. The following GM leaders were present for the event: (L-R) M.E. Coyle, William S. Knudsen, Alfred P. Sloan and C. E. Wilson.
