As you probably know, it’s Saab’s 60th anniversary. To mark the occasion, among other things, there is a fun display of historic and current Saab vehicles in GM World on the RenCen’s first floor. I decided to go downstairs and take a few pictures of the party.

From a 1952 Saab 92, to a great 1966 Quantum IV, and a sweet-looking 1970 Sonett III, there’s some great vehicles on display, and it was fun to drop by and check out some of Saab’s history.

Happy birthday, Saab — here’s to 60 more great years!

Like that other Nordic invention, the Cell Phone, SAAB’s have allways been unique and elegant solutions to real life engineering dilemas.
GM can and should take pride in keeping SAAB allive; and SAABs true to their heritage.
