Hey GM - Can we please have an affordable, low profile, low beltline, full size pillarless hardtop. Mercedes is teasing us middle income folk by flaunting their $100K pillarless hardtop in ads. Why are we stuck with high, upright sedans that are getting higher all the time, as tall as cars from the mid fifties. Not all of us want a car that looks like an SUV. Are obese people designing these things with “chair high seats.” Sedans(especially those awful Chrysler Sebrings) are beging to look like ‘49 Plymouths. (They were supposedly designed with high roofs because the presinent of Chrysler wanted to wear a hat in the car.)
