The most classic in my view is still the 1959, one year only with horizontal fins in the tailgate. A niche market that again could stand an entry or two. I'm surprised Ford never made a Ranchero from the Fairmont (look at th eprofile and envision nothing behind the roof pillar) When you bring over the Commodore ute (which is better than 50-50 chance) make it a Pontiac G8 Sprint. The Sprint name goes back longer in Pontiac's history than it does in GMC.

Well JohnP, my vote has to go to the 1960. It's one of my dream trucks, but we have too many old Chevys already, and I have to try to keep peace in the family!

We had a '60 Chevy for years when I was in Jr. High through college, so maybe that's why.

I always saw it as a bit more restrained '59.

They're both great though.
