Thanks for your photo requests from last week— we’re working on it!

    Now… Or Then?

Imagine the utter blithe that preceeded this ill-fated sedan. Brown. Huge. Full of Cardboard parts and rubber-filled vinyl.

A gas hog in a time of fuel crisis.

    Was that 1976 or 2006!?!

Today: We appreciated, though unknowingly, the soft riding demeanor and the clean, large lines. Yes, I said clean. Although there were far more hundreds of parts(screws, single mold plastic) which made up this piece-meal sedan from Parts-Bin, USA, than sedans of today, there is an aire of sophisticated class about this automobile.

Although it might have seemed, at the time, to be just another re-badged Mutli-GM platform Car, today it survives as a nicely preserved picture of comfort, and easy, 1-fingered slick steering for navigating about a city-street or parking lot.

Of course, we should forget the mushy brakes, scary hydro-plane prone tires, vacuum hoses-from-hell engine, and 8-track cassette deck.

    Cheers!
