Chevy General Manager Ed Peper with the 2008 North American Car of the Year, the Chevy Malibu, on Jan. 13.
We’ve put up lots of photos on Flickr, with more to come, from the North American International Auto Show and the kickoff GM Style event.

Do you realize what just happened here?
Do you understand the significance?
With the Hollywood writers’ strike GM’s style event has more stars than Hollywood.
Could you imagine, GM’s style event has more stars, more red carpet and of course better speeches than Hollywood. Well they always had better speeches. And this writer will never go on strike.
With more stars than the Golden Globes and more politicians than Washington with this election tonight Detroit’s star shines in the spotlight. Ahhhh…Enjoy.
I hope to spend more time looking at all the pictures but got to get to work.
You know, like GM is.

The CTS-V is gorgeous, but I’m enthralled by the styling of the CTS-Coupe (CTC sounds much less awkward than CTS Coupe), when you build it, please don’t screw with the proportions. The concept looks perfect as it is, and ready to go. I will accept a hood-bulge for the CTC-V to get the same engine as the CTS-V, and I certainly hope I can buy a CTC-V in the near future! BUILD IT PLEASE! I’ve got a pre-order on the Camaro, and would gladly add a CTC-V to my garage When it is built if you don’t mess with it! Please!?

Gm should surely consider, upgrading advertisements, and agents in line with new products. Current advertisements lack creativity and are boring. The competition is winning not with quality products but with better advertising and customer relations.
