VIDEO: "Slugging" with the Malibu
Slugging is a form of casual carpooling that only exists in a few cities nationwide. In the Washington, DC area, many commuters find that slugging is a great way to take advantage of the High Occupancy Vehicle lanes going into the city. Chevrolet has five 2008 Malibus in area slug lines, giving commuters the chance to experience the car during the course of their regular day. Slugging allows people to experience a variety of cars, so Chevy is getting some good comments about the Malibu through this local initiative.
